Prayer
If you have a prayer need, we have several ways you can let us know.
Sunday Morning Worship:
As you enter
worship, pick up a prayer request slip from the table in the foyer.
Fill it out and hand to Pastor John and he will lift up your prayer in
worship, bring it to the prayer group that meets on Tuesday mornings, or
contact you. Please note how we can pray for you on the note.
Praying Hands: Members of our new prayer
ministry, "Praying Hands" are available to pray for you or with you
following each Sunday worship service. If you have a joy, concern,
celebration, or any other request, please look for these individuals
near the front corners of the sanctuary. Prayers you share with a
member of Praying Hands are completely confidential.
Prayer Team: Every Tuesday morning our prayer team meets to pray
over the concerns expressed on Sunday, and other needs we are aware of. If
you would like this team to pray for you, please contact the church office
with your prayer request. You may contact the church office by phone:
939-0108 or by email. Prayer Chain: Our church maintains a prayer chain for urgent prayer
needs. If you have concern, please contact the church office to activate
our prayer chain. If you would like to be a member of our prayer chain,
please let us know! Private Prayer Needs: If you have a prayer concern you would like
to express in private, please call the church office to speak to Pastor
John, or another member of our staff you are comfortable with. We would be
glad to pray for you and with you through whatever difficulties or joys
you may be experiencing.
Additional Resources:
Eagle United Methodist Church has a Stephen Ministry program. Through
this ministry, those with ongoing needs (grief, divorce, end of life care,
etc.) are connected with a specially trained Stephen Minister who can
minister to them on an individual basis.
