	HEALTHY FAMILIES Healthy Families is a bi-monthly gathering for all families with children at home. (We only meet once per month during the summer). We begin at 6:30 p.m. and end at 9:00 p.m., at church. Dinner will be served and childcare is provided. The cost is $5.00 per adult. Healthy Families does a variety of activities. They alternate teaching and education events along with games and activities. They also have a mix of activities when things are done with "just the adults" and times when events are planned for the whole family. If you are looking for a way to get to know other families, learn more about topics relevant to your family, and just have some fun, then Healthy Families is the place for you! Upcoming Healthy Families Events: Friday, November 7: Family Traditions Therese Woozley will share a presentation on Family Traditions. Therese is a local mom and has a lot to share on creative family traditions. We will enjoy dinner then childcare will be provided. Please RSVP for meal and babysitter planning. Friday, November 21: Advent Wreaths We will be learning Advent traditions and making an Advent wreath and other crafts to take home. Donations will be accepted for wreath supplies. A ham and deep fried turkey will be served, but we need Thanksgiving sides and desserts. Please RSVP for meal and wreath supply planning.
