The primary music activity for children is our children's choir program.  Each Wednesday night during the school year our children, 1st through 5th grade, experience music through choir, Bible time, and crafts.  Staffed by wonderful Christian role models, this is a time for fellowship, music making and learning the fundamentals for music and the Christian faith.

As children are exposed to the joyful spirit of music they begin building a foundation for a life-long love of singing.  During these formative years, our children learn how music and creative arts help us communicate with God.  Throughout the year our children lead in worship services and sing for seasonal programs.

The Next Generation Children's Music Ministry provides our children with opportunities to learn the joys of praising God through singing.  Our objectives are:

 - To teach children how to find and develop their singing voice
 - To teach children how to read music
 - To teach hymns and songs of the faith
 - To teach and instill an understanding of worship
 - To participate in worship
 - To support the music through scripture, Bible stories, and hand's on activities
 - To enjoy fellowship

Guided by leaders who love children and music, our children are blessed by the joys of music-making, and they are also a blessing to our congregation.  Our children's choirs sing in worship several times a year.  The children will also perform a musical.  Together with our wonderful staff, we provide our young musicians with a rewarding musical experience and spiritual growth through the art of worship arts.  Your child will not want to miss the fun, fellowship and music as we lift our voices in song.

Since the children will be coming directly from school each Wednesday, we will provide a healthy snack for them prior to the start of TNG.  Parents are encouraged to sign up when registering their child(ren) to bring food at least one time during the 24 weeks of TNG. 

The fee of $40 for the first child and $30 for each additional child will be collected at registration.  This fee will cover music, materials, and a t-shirt that will be worn during our musical at the end of the year.  Scholarships are available.
